A Maryland man was killed after being ordered out of the car by his Lyft driver, authorities announced. At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 24, a group of six friends ordered a Lyft driver to pick them up in Dewey Beach and transport them back to their residence in Bethany Beach, state police in Delaware said. Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a Lyft driver in Fairfield County, causing the driver to crash into a tree to stop the attack. Three alleged rideshare drivers were arrested in New Jersey on insurance fraud charges, authorities said. Muhammad Khan, 21, Haq Khan, 24, and Yasir Raza, 34, have each been accused of collecting insurance money from ridesharing apps such as Uber and Lyft, for car accidents that never happened, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
