Tow Truck Collides With SEPTA Bus In Lower Merion
A tow truck struck a SEPTA bus Wednesday afternoon in Lower Merion, dispatch officials told Daily Voice. The crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. on the 100 block of Coulter Avenue, Emergency Dispatch Services said. School Bus Driver Fired In York County Following Crash With Students Onboard
A school bus was involved in a crash in Hopewell Township while on its morning route on Tuesday, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. The South Eastern School District bus was carrying 17 students when it crashed, overturning at the intersection of Kilgore and Draco roads at 8:05 a.m. When crews arrived at the scene just after 8:30 a.m. all the students were already out of the bus and area was cleared in about one hour, said dispatch. Authorities ID Man, 36, Killed In I-76, PA Turnpike Crash
The man who died in Monday morning’s fatal turnpike crash has been identified. A utility truck crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on I-76 by mile marker 246.6 at 9:17 a.m. according to PA Turnpike officials. The utility truck driver died at the scene and a coroner was called, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. The driver has been identified by officials as Kevin Hostetter, 36 of Myerstown, Lebanon County, according to WGAL News 8. Traffic was diverted to Route 283, I-83 and I-81 for hours. Interstate 76 Westbound closed at the Susquehanna River Bridge in Harrisburg due to a fatal accident on Monday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. A crash involving a car into a commercial vehicle occurred at 9:17 a.m. according to the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Derry Township School Bus Hits Car Causing Oil Spill
A school bus slammed into a car Tuesday afternoon, says Emergency Dispatch Services in Dauphin County. The bus hit sedan at the intersection of HP Drive and Sandbeach Road just before 5 p.m. One person was injured and treated at the scene. No students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Fire crews were called to the scene to apply oil drying fluid, according to the Hershey Fire Department. Derry Township police stayed on the scene to direct traffic.

Two people were shot in Harrisburg on Friday, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. Police were called to the scene shortly after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Kittatinny and South 13th streets. The victims were taken to Hamilton Health Center in unknown condition. Route 581 in Cumberland County was closed for hours last Friday due to a report of a man pointing a gun at drivers, according to Pennsylvania State Police. A search of the car, however, deemed the report unfounded, police said. Co-Sleeping Lancaster Dad Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter Of 3-Month-Old
A Lancaster man is charged with involuntary manslaughter following the death of his 3-month-old son. Police believe the infant's death is a resolute of the father, Rolston Sturkey, 30, of Lancaster co-sleeping. Emergency Dispatch Services called police to the 700 block of Wyncroft Lane on Sep. 7, where the found the infant unresponsive.
