From every corner of the country, donations are pouring in for a 2-year-old boy whose parents were gunned down in the parade shooting in a northern Chicago suburb that left six dead and dozens wounded.
Kevin, age 37, and Irina McCarthy, age 35, of Highland Park, Illinois, the parents of little Aiden McCarthy, were killed on Monday, July 4th protecting their son as a shooter opened fire on an excited crowd lined up to watch the annual parade.
Aiden was found wandering the street after the shooting, in which his father had laid on top of his son to protect him during the rampage.

A Westchester County woman known as a successful marketing professional and devoted mother of two has died at the age of 49.
Heather Paltz Ughetta, of Larchmont, died on Thursday, Dec. 16, according to her obituary.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Ted Ughetta, and her children, 17-year-old Teddy and 14-year-old Caroline.
She is also survived by her mother, Carole Paltz, and two siblings.
Paltz Ughetta was raised in Manlius and worked in marketing and communications at IBM and Accenture, her obituary said.

The mastermind of a GoFundMe scheme that conned 14,000 donors across the country out of $400,000 to purportedly benefit a homeless veteran admitted in federal court in New Jersey on Monday that he and his ex-girlfriend pocketed most of the money.
Mark D’Amico, 42, formerly of Bordentown, admitted concocting a bogus feel-good story about the supposed victim coming to the rescue of Katelyn McClure after she ran out of gas on Route 95 on her way home to New Jersey from Philadelphia.
Both McClure and the homeless man, Johnny Bobbitt Jr., were in on the scheme, authorities said.
